Jihyun Kim has been dreaming of meeting people from all over the world since she was young. In order to achieve her dream, she moved to the U.S. and became a teacher in NYC. She received her master’s degree in Math Education from Korea University and holds teacher certificates in NY, NJ and South Korea. She has taught math in middle school and high school, and she also has taught Korean at Democracy Prep High School.
Jihyun Kim understands that each student has a personality that requires individual care, patience, and attention in order for them to connect with the material. She excels at quickly grasping how to tailor a lesson plan to address each student’s specific needs. One of her greatest joys is to see her students thrive, and she looks forward to guiding everyone to the path of success.
