Eunjee Choi
As a Korean-American growing up in NYC in the 90’s, Eunjee Choi first learned Korean as a heritage speaker and was able to build fluency thanks to her passion for first-gen K-pop and K-dramas. Eunjee deepened her understanding of Korean linguistics as she studied Chinese at Tufts University and at Beijing Language & Culture University.
Eunjee Choi received her Bachelor of Arts in Chinese and International Relations from Tufts University and her Master’s degree in International Comparative Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. For the past 14 years, Eunjee has worked in public and private education sectors in China and in the United States. More recently, she has taught as a Korean teacher in an NYC public high school and works today as a director of college access at a high-performing charter school network.
